Unsolved Mysteries -  "5 Section Breakdown"

Picture

You will visit the sites related to YOUR unsolved mystery.  Below you can see the 5 areas you will be presenting - these are the 5 areas to focus on while you are reading and investigating your mystery.

1.  Give the BACKGROUND of your unsolved mystery.
2.  What are some of the THEORIES that you believe to be more REASONABLE
3.  What are some of the THEORIES that you believe to be more UNREASONABLE?
4.  What parts of the unsolved mystery STILL REMAIN A MYSTERY
5.  Based on what you now know, what are your thoughts about the mystery you selected?  What is YOUR THEORY on what really happened??

HERE IS A BREAKDOWN EXPLANATION OF EACH AREA LISTED ABOVE:
You must read and investigate your mystery... you will have to identify the BACKGROUND of your mystery.  This would be you explaining to someone who knows absolutely nothing about your mystery... describe to them the mystery.  You need to tell the basics of the mystery - they know nothing now

While reading and investigating, you will find different explanations or ideas about your mystery.  These ideas (theories) will try to explain your mystery - they may even try to convince you if something is real or not, if someone exists or not, if something vanished or not... you have to decide if the theories you find are REASONABLE or UNREASONABLE THEORIES.

After reading and investigating, you may still have some unanswered questions, some things that the reading just couldn ot answer for you.  These questions are WHAT STILL REMAIN A MYSTERY.  These questions can come from your head, not the reading.

You have done the reading and investigating... you are loaded with all the information you need... based on all the theories and information that you have found - what is YOUR THEORY on what really happened?

During your presentation, you will share your answers to these areas listed above.
