REMEMBER.......HOMEFUN    

 1.  Metacognition: Record what you are thinking, learning, feeling or wondering about after your day at SOAR in your

      INKING ABOUT THINKING Journal. Please share your thoughts with a parent and have them sign your entry each week.

 

 2.  Feed your brain and earn BRAINY BUCKS by completing at least one "BRAIN FREEZE" or AHA! puzzle

      each week.  Activities will be individually checked each week and discussed with the class the last week of the month.

      

 

ASSIGNMENTS:

 

 

     DREAM MAKER PROJECT:  

           - complete 3 short Biographies grids about 3 Dream Makers

           - make a decision on who you will research

           - write a detailed rationale providing three reasons why you have chosen this person

           - get the project signed by a parent

           - write at least 10 W 5 ( who, what, where, when, why and how) that will help you

             gain knowledge and understanding about your Dream Maker's childhood, education,

             mentors, obstacles and accomplishments

           - write 3- 5 HOT questions in order to dig deeper to discover what makes

             your eminent person tick
